when We can just be,
when We don’t have to choose
an identity,
when We can exist
in Our complexity,
I hope for a Future
when We can be free,
of every division,
class, and category,
restacking the deck,
of history,
I hope for a Future
without hostility,
when We put emphasis
on empathy,
when connection, compassion,
is all We see,
I hope for a Future
when We can just be,
I’m starting this Future
making it Reality,
